Studying Jewish rituals has led to an understanding of how tradition is passed from generation to generation. The ability to shift and change from one time period to the next is a key element in establishing cultural and religious longevity. This ability to reconstruct tradition anew with each generation has led the Jewish tribe to be one of the oldest living traditions on the planet today. There is much wisdom to be learned in the study of ancient rituals. The challenge becomes how do you reconstruct an ancient ritual and bring a fresh new approach.
